About Trabotyx

Trabotyx develops autonomous robots for weed control. Together with growers we have focused on one challenge: removing weeds close to the plant.
The message from the field was clear: we want a laser and we want this autonomous. That is why we switched from mechanical weeding to laser technology in 2024.
Our team of 15 people is building a solution that helps reduce chemical inputs and comply with new regulations.
Weed removal is becoming increasingly difficult. Organic growers can no longer find people to weed by hand. Conventional growers are facing ever stricter regulations and are looking for a non-chemical alternative. Of the 200 growers we spoke to in 2024, the vast majority wanted laser weeding.
Close to the plant, no disturbance of the soil and extremely fast. At the same time, growers prefer this to be autonomous. Speed becomes less of an issue when a machine can run 24/7.
Trabotyx’s team of 15 people is fully focused on one thing: building an autonomous laser weeding machine that keeps the grower’s fields clean.
