Autonomous weed control
Laser weeding with an autonomous weeding robot
TOR is a laser weeding robot that removes weeds inside the crop row without chemicals and without touching the soil. Day and night, in every crop we've trained.

What is laser weeding?
Laser weeding is a form of precision weed control in which a robot uses computer vision to detect each weed and neutralize it with a short, targeted laser pulse. No herbicides, no mechanical disturbance of the soil, no damage to the crop.
Because the laser weeding robot targets weeds plant by plant, it works for organic growers avoiding chemicals and for conventional growers facing stricter EU regulations on pesticide use.
TOR runs autonomously, 24/7. With the right crop models, the system removes up to 95% of weeds at a density of 20 weeds per linear meter.

Why a laser weeding robot?

Zero chemicals
Fully chemical-free weed control. Suitable for organic certification and upcoming EU pesticide restrictions.

Autonomous day and night
GPS-RTK guided. The robot works the field on its own, including at night, with no operator on site.

No soil disturbance
Unlike mechanical weeding, the laser never touches the soil — no compaction, no root damage to the crop.

Precision per plant
Computer vision tells weed from crop. Less than 2% crop hit rate on trained crops.

Lower operating cost
Up to €1,200 per day saved versus hand weeding or herbicides, depending on crop and weed pressure.

Crops we already laser-weed
We run production on trained crops and collect data for new ones. Buy a TOR and you can request at least one new crop.

Call for purchase detailsFrequently asked questions about laser weeding
How does the laser work?+
The camera detects weeds and crops; we laser the weed at the exact right moment. With a high dose, you'll see immediate results; with a lower dose, results appear within 24 hours
How long do I need to laser?+
Small weeds we laser in under 100 milliseconds. Large weeds up to 750 milliseconds
What is the expected capacity per day?+
At a driving speed of 360 meters per hour and a working width of 1.50 m, we weed 1 hectare in 18.5 hours
What laser power does TOR use?+
With adjustable power limits and configurations up to 200W, TOR lasers offer maximum flexibility for every application
Which crops do you already weed?+
Vegetables: carrots, onions, lettuce, cabbage, herbs, spinach, beet, parsnip, and chicory. Flowers: lilies, tulips, and peonies.
Which crops are planned for 2026 / 2027 / 2028?+
We keep adding new crops based on grower demand. Customers who buy a TOR can request at least one new crop; we collect the data and train the model.
If I have a new crop, how does that work?+
Growers who purchase a TOR can request at least one new crop. We collect the data and train the model for it
What if you change your laser / computer / camera in 12 months?+
We offer a hardware upgrade program so early users can always stay up to date with the latest technology.
What are your service hours?+
Customer service: 07:00 – 22:00 (Mon–Sat). Field service: on-site within 3 hours. Crop model update: within 24 hours
How many lasers per machine?+
This version of TOR can carry up to 6 lasers
What is the battery capacity?+
At 20 weeds per linear meter we assume up to 10 hours
How many weeds does TOR remove? Is there proof?+
The system is designed to remove 95% of weeds at 20 weeds per linear meter and a driving speed of 360 meters per hour
What's the maximum weed size the laser can handle?+
We eliminate weeds up to 2.5 cm within milliseconds
Does the robot adjust driving speed based on weed density?+
Yes, this is detected through computer vision
What if the crop model doesn't work well in my field?+
We collect and process the data; within 24 hours you'll have a new crop model
How often does it hit the crop?+
Less than 2%, mostly in early-stage crops where weeds and crops look very similar
